PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (Jan. 23, 2010) Marines and Sailors assigned to the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (24th MEU) and the Nassau Amphibious Ready Group carry a two-year-old Haitian child from an MH-60 Sea Hawk helicopter during an emergency medivac. Four Haitian nationals, two men and two children, were medivaced from the Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Comfort (T-AH 20) to the amphibious assault ship USS Nassau (LHA 4) where they received further medical care. One adult male is in critical condition, the other is in stable condition. The two-year-old child is in stable condition, and one infant had no apparent wounds. Nassau and the 24th MEU are supporting Operation Unified Response in the aftermath of the earthquake that struck Haiti on Jan. 12, 2010. 10HE0123-M-4752B-090 (USMC)
